Professor Sabine Einwiller

Sabine Einwiller is the Professor of Public Relations Research in the Department of Communication at the University of Vienna, Austria, where she heads the Corporate Communication Research Group. She holds a doctorate degree in Business Adminstration from the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland) and a master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Mannheim (Germany).
Prior to her academic career, Sabine worked as a PR manager in a multinational chemical company in Germany. In her research, she is mainly interested in the effects of corporate communication on their stakeholders and in integrated communication management. In particular, her research focuses on the effects of negative publicity and crisis communication, consumer-company communication in social media, the strategic management of contents and topics and employee communication.
